Meet the team

Sage Mervis

Executive Director

Sage has been assessing and treating children and adults with communication disorders for 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Chico. She was the Assistant Clinical Director at a large well-known private practice in West Los Angeles where she worked for 9 years prior to starting her own clinic.

Having grown up in the San Fernando Valley, Sage has enjoyed all of the aspects of Southern California. She found Speech Pathology through the Career Counseling Center at her university and knew immediately she had found her calling. In her free time Sage enjoys hiking, Pilates, skiing, as well as playing with her two new kittens - Bud and Coyote. As a self-proclaimed "foodie", she has made a major effort to find every wonderful brunch spot in the Los Angeles area. She enjoys the close proximity to family and visits with them often. Sage was a Girl Scout for 14 years which she strongly endorses for girls of all ages.

Megan Winer

Clinical Fellow

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Megan is passionate about all things LA – discovering new restaurants, hiking, attending Dodger games, and listening to a good podcast while sitting in traffic on the 405 freeway. Before Megan decided to call LA her home, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where she found her calling to work in the field of communication. After she graduated and moved back home to LA, she realized her passion for speech-language pathology while shadowing a SLP at her elementary school. As a speech pathologist, Megan enjoys creating fun materials that allow children to have those inspiring “lightbulb” moments.
